Because a picture is worth a thousand words....
For my final photo project I would like to take a look at the elements that compose an entrance. This will include looking at doors, doorways, hinges, knobs...etc. I have found that a door can tell a story or possibly peak your interest making you wonder about its story. Recently I was at a Salt Lake Cemetery where the caretaker's door had a mutilated sign reading, "All deliveries must be made between hours of 8:00am and noon". It was a crappy photo but it got me thinking a bit. What's behind the door? Who posted the sign? Why does it matter? And so, I would like to use my final photo project to take a look at the doorways/entryways that I find interesting, funny or intriguing. My husband and I are going away for our anniversary and he is always up for a drive around town so I will start there, taking a few photos around town. Then we are taking our children to Disneyland and there should be a couple of great entryways along the way. It will be a fun addition to a family vacation.
